So, where to begin? Well, following on from the Spinifex Ministries site, we arrived at Alice in early May and by the end of the month our gear arrived from Perth. Most of this we hadn't seen since 2003 and some things were still wrapped in newspaper from 1996! So unpacking was like Christmas!

An Alice Springs sunset from our front door!

In the middle of June Bob & Debbie (who were looking after the church before we arrived) hooked up and left.

Many people think that Alice Springs is on a spring. Well it's not. This is the site from where Alice was named. It's not a spring, just a section of the Todd River that has a rock bottom, so there is always water there.

The old kitchen coming out and the new going in.

Dad spent many hours transforming the backyard from this to this!

I took many a truckload of green waste and rubbish from the block to the tip in the first 2 months!

Yes Alice does get cold, very cold in the middle of the year!

Thought of 'borrowing' it for our place!?

The last time for a while that the rig would be hooked up. We have now parked it permanently until it is sold later in the year.

The view of the Gap and Todd River, a stone's throw from the church.

Took some friends to Jay's Rock Hole one Saturday to show them around. All the times Joshua has done the walk, he had to get stuck on a rock ledge this time. Yes Dad had to come to the rescue.

Joshua off to Army Cadet camp. First camp in cadets for him and he loved it! At camp he was promoted from Recruit to Cadet!

Phil had his 36th birthday.

Twas Christmas time again! Cath's mum and dad drove over to spend it with us.
